If a subtask is related to other subtasks and viewing the nested list is necessary, going to the Project view is far better than dealing with the nested list in the Today view, as a subtask not due tomorrow will show up in the Today view in the nested main task-subtask list.Todoist is an efficient task organizer that enables its users to keep track of their projects, tasks, and goals from a single easy to use interface. I just make sure all subtasks have due dates and are organized in the appropriate project. If there is a subtask that is due today it will appear as an individual task and if we check the main task the subtask will still remain due as an individual task if it hasn't been checked. I don't like it, but it's the best way I've got for subtasks that all have due dates. This helped me a lot to declutter the Today view when using recurring subtasks. Not 100% sure about this, but I think if a main task has subtasks and all subtasks have some due dates, we can focus only on checking off the subtask appearing as an individual task and keep the main task-subtask nested list closed in the Today view. Optionally delete the IDs from the data store, but I think Todoist preserves the same ID for recurring tasks.
